About Nest
The shortest path from an idea to software
Most good ideas die waiting for an engineer. We started Nest so anyone can turn one into a working app in an afternoon, and own every line of it.

Our story
Why we started
Before Nest, Nadia ran product at a fintech and Theo led its developer platform. Every quarter the backlog grew faster than the team, and the best ideas from sales, support and operations never made it past a slide.
When language models learned to write real code, we saw the gap close. Not for a demo, but for the internal tool, the client portal and the first version of a company, built by the person who understood the problem best.
That is still the whole job. Everything we ship has to help someone go from a sentence to software they trust, and can take with them.

What we believe
Ideas deserve a try
Trying something should cost an afternoon, not a quarter. Cheap experiments make better products.
Show the work
The agent plans in the open, tests what it builds and tells you what it changed. Trust comes from seeing.
You own it
Your code, your data, your domain. If you leave, everything you built leaves with you.
How we got here
